In the past decade, AI has rapidly gone from fuel for science fiction to foundation for enterprise success. The most common example is machine learning applications, which can analyze data at a scale unmatchable by humans while employing a subtlety previously inaccessible to computers.
But the real robotic process automation, AI-driven tools capable of executing complex enterprise tasks, is quickly emerging as another front-link AI application. These virtual “bots” bring the same benefits to operations as machine learning brings to data—highly efficient automation of tasks that were previously far too multi-faceted for machines.
Few companies, however, currently feature a sufficient knowledge-base to implement ground-up robotic process automation efforts.
That means that the incredible benefits these bots are capable of driving have remained inaccessible to far too many enterprises until now.
